January, 2009 - IBM names Systems Solutions an IBM BladeCenter and Storage Solution “Center for Excellence”.

IBM has named Systems Solutions/ComputerLand an IBM BladeCenter and Storage Solution (BSSC) “Center for Excellence” at the company’s offices in Paducah, Kentucky. The center is the first in Western Kentucky and one of only three in the state. The BladeCenter solution integrates servers, storage, networking and applications into one system, thereby consolidating space and system administration while saving power consumption, cooling and IT costs.

May, 2009 - Systems Solutions partners with Xerox in PagePack program

Xerox has launched a new program to drive more business into the small- and midsize-business market. Called PagePack, the program features a cost-per-page model that enables solution providers to offer broader document imaging solutions, said James Firestone, president of Xerox North America, Stamford, Conn.
“The new program utilizes the presence of Xerox partners in their respective markets along with Xerox's expertise in document management to meet the needs of small and medium size businesses (SMB’s). It was originally developed for enterprise customers and has now been tailored as an excellent program for SMBs to control and lower their printing costs" Firestone said.
